We are IVE invite adults who are interested in becoming Discover and Explore Arts Award Advisers to join the Creative Learning Partnership at Millers Yard for this half day training session with an experienced Arts Award trainer.
Course Title: Arts Award Discover and Explore adviser training
Course Description: Learn to become an Arts Award Adviser for the Discover and Explore level awards.

Cost: £140.00 per person
Access (public transport / parking):
Parking is available at Bootham Row car park (2 min walk). Public transport networks are good. A Park & Ride Service operates from six sites close to the city’s outer ring road. If arriving by train, the venue is around a 10 min walk from the station and close to York Theatre Royal.
Disabled Access: There is no disabled access to the training room although we may be able to make special arrangements with prior notification.

Advisers are crucial to Arts Award. They need to communicate with children and young people successfully and offer them effective support while they are working towards their Award.
This course is suitable for anyone who works with young people up to the age of 25 and meets the requirements outlined in the Arts Award adviser person specification.
This course is also available as a SEN focused training course for adults who work with children and young people with special educational needs or requirements.
