For Artsmark settings

Artsmark Development Training is an essential part of the new Artsmark process. During this training you will begin to explore how you can plan to use arts and culture to meet your whole-school priorities, with the support of our Artsmark experts.

This session is for schools that have registered with Artsmark only. If your school has not already signed up to the Artsmark Award you are not eligible to attend, however you can find out more on our Artsmark page.

Artsmark Development Training must be attended by 2 members of staff, the Artsmark lead and a senior member of staff (even if the Artsmark lead is also a senior member of staff). Attendance is an essential part of the new process. During this training you will find out more about the Artsmark process and begin to explore how you can plan to use arts and culture to meet your whole school priorities, with the support of our Artsmark experts. By the end of the session you will be well on the way to completing your Statement of Commitment, which is the framework for your Artsmark journey.

Dates available for Spring 2023 are as follows:

(Artsmark Development Training sessions run from 10.00am – 12.30pm. You only need to attend one Development Training session, please choose a date most convenient to you)

Please familiarise yourself with the self-assessment framework prior to the Development Training. You can view the document here.

During the Development Training you will need to be able to reference your school development plan so please have a copy to hand during the session.
