This 2 hour 15minutes workshop, delivered by Mortal Fools is for folk wanting to take the next steps in developing skills for designing blended virtual sessions and facilitating the delivery of a high-quality participatory session. It integrates effective planning, engagement strategies, delivery resilience, importance of co-creation and activity suggestions.

2020 saw the rapid shift to all things digital with many having to pivot activities, events, meetings and engagements online. The speed of this shift, has meant that facilitators and organisers have often been focused on making it all happen – the NEED to move the activity online, as opposed to thinking about what digital sessions “could” look like and to maximise the audience or participant experience.

This session is a space to learn how to do just that and is designed for people already engaging in digital facilitation, who want to take the next steps to improve or build on their digital facilitation skills. You will leave with an understanding of how to put your audience or participants’ needs at the heart of your digital engagement; supporting you to facilitate a positive, productive, collaborative, engaging, well-managed, high quality experience for all involved.

This workshop will cover how to:

Post workshop – all participants will receive workshop notes with resources highlighted and you will get access to a Mortal Fools Facebook group, so you can ask questions and of course, offer each other peer to peer support and advice.

Mortal Fools is a multi award-winning theatre, drama and creative learning charity. CONNECT is their unique training and professional development programme for organisations and individuals that uses practical training to help people to grow and thrive.

Suitable for: Artists and creatives in the Arts and Culture sector working in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Please note, we charge a fully refundable deposit to encourage attendance. Refunds will be sent to attendees within 36 hours of the event/course end date. If you are unable to attend, please let us know at least 2 days before the event/course start date. Those who fail to cancel their ticket or attend will forfeit their deposit.
