This six-session programme will help you to meaningfully develop creative ways to embed wellbeing at the heart of your school, and strengthen children’s relationship with learning as a result.
Providing specialist support, these facilitated sessions will enable you to develop new knowledge and to flexibly use those insights in ways which are empowering; for you, your school, and everybody in it. You’ll take away adaptable, creative tasks that are designed around the needs of your setting, enabling you to meaningfully develop your practice; practice which not only promotes learning, but strengthens the all-round experience that school is a nurturing & nourishing place to be – for both learners & staff.
The programme is based on a supportive, peer-learning environment framework where you can experiment with different ideas & approaches, and exchange ideas, learning & reflections; with each other, and from each other.
Fundamentally, although this pivotal point in time brings great challenges, it is also full of inherent possibilities. This programme is about tapping into those and using the opportunity this gives us all; to reconsider the importance of emotional health in school, to redefine what creativity means in a flourishing learning space, and to use that learning to support young people who can learn well, do well and be well.”
This programme consists of six sessions, and you must be able to attend all six dates in order to sign up. All sessions run from 4 – 5.30 pm.
Suitable for: School staff in schools located in the Yorkshire and the Humber region
These sessions are free but include a £10 deposit which will be returned to you after completion of the first session.
