In these challenging times, we feel it is important to provide support to parents, carers and children to enable them to continue to engage in the arts and culture from home. Arts Award Discover at Home is for children and young people aged 11yrs and under. The Award provides an opportunity to learn more about the arts, get excited about arts and culture, have a go at being creative and best of all, celebrate their creative achievements! This unique qualification is managed by Trinity College London in association with Arts Council England.

Select one of the documents below to access your very own, uniquely designed Discover at Home Log Book which your child can complete along their Arts award Discover at Home journey. We have two versions which you can print-out, and a special PDF version which is fully interactive and can be completed online.
There is no time limit to completing this! Begin by looking through the log book with your child and talking about the different parts they need to complete with your help– this is a good opportunity to ask them what kind of art forms they are interested in exploring and what they’d like to find out more about.
Fancy doing something different? We’ve had submissions in many different formats including video logbooks – this is your chance to really get creative!
Art is all around us! There are lots of ideas click here to help get you started on the Trinity College website.

We hope children will have a lot of fun completing their folders and you’ll have enjoyed the process too in supporting them. Once their log book is complete, you can apply for a certificate, issued by Trinity College London to celebrate their brilliant achievement! Certificates cost £5.
If you would like to apply for one, simply email us your child’s finished log book which we will moderate. Trinity College London will then issue them their very own certificate! Please note that due to ongoing changes to lockdown restrictions, there may be a slight delay in postage of certificates.
