Schools play a vital role in ensuring that every child and young person has access to arts and cultural experiences. Our schools offer includes a range of support, professional development and opportunities that are designed to help schools develop fantastic creative education. Our schools offer has been designed to be relevant to all schools as well as to complement our support for schools on their Artsmark journey or those offering Arts Award.
We offer a wide range of free, online Continuing Professional Development (CPD) across settings and disciplines. These include one-off sessions and longer cohort programmes covering topics including: wellbeing and creativity; artform-specific CPD focusing on teacher skills; developing and delivering a diverse and creative curriculum.

“C is for Creativity…. and 29 other ways to nurture healthy young minds…” is a creative and interactive resource designed by Jo Stockdale of Well Within Reach for teachers, practitioners, and young people themselves. Incorporating 26 ‘A-Z cards’ and 4 ‘wild cards’, they help everyone to work collaboratively together to strengthen children’s social and emotional wellbeing and competencies.

We supported 21 creative practitioners to trial school offerings that focused on boosting mental health and wellbeing, engaging with the arts and bridging learning gaps. These micro-commissions gave artists space to research and develop their creative practice and create innovative services that can be offered to schools through remote, digital or blended activities.
