Supporting Yorkshire creatives to reach new groups of young people

Congratulations to our micro-commission recipients! We received a fantastic array of proposals from across Yorkshire and Humber, featuring a variety of disciplines all aimed at reaching new groups of young people who face barriers to arts and culture. We look forward to seeing the launch of these exciting projects in March.

Micro-commissions for developing new practice

Our micro-commissions offer a chance for creative practitioners to expand their knowledge, skills, and to work with groups of young people they haven’t worked with before. Our first round of micro-commissions were launched in February 2021, which helped creative practitioners develop new ways of delivering their creative content to education settings online.
