Sculpture building and object exploration from re-cycled or re-purposed materials.
The artworks can be created as both individuals or in groups, which encourages teamwork skills.
This workshop can be done indoors or outdoors and can be small or large scale. They can also be finished art pieces or temporary structures.
I can provide specialist knowledge and supportive ideas from my own artistic practice where I use similar materials.
The workshop encourages use of the imagination which naturally sparks excitement, inspiration from each other and can be fully engaging for all.
A hands on, proactive workshop fully self-led by the young people with only guidance and inspiration from myself.
The workshop allows for pupils to develop an individual style or approach to an artistic brief with allocated time within the session to show outcomes to each other within the class, opening up discussion and providing pupils opportunity to be proud of what they have/can achieve.
Suitable for all key stages, as can be easily adapted and developed using different materials and different processes dependant on ability and age appropriate interests. The subject matter of the materials used or themes the finished works explore, can easily be tailored to match a variety of curriculum topics. This can be discussed at development stage of putting a workshop together.
Cost £200 all day workshop, £120 for half day. This cost will include the cost of materials, with exception when specialist materials are requested. Additional costs may also incur if large scale works are wished to be kept by schools, as generally these are produced as temporary structures
An alternative approach to the teaching of drawing and mark-making
This workshop can be done small or large scale. For example, works can be created within sketchbooks or on a large roll of paper in the school hall.
Can be offered as an introduction into specialist art mediums in exciting and open-ended approaches

The workshop encourages pupils to try new approaches and break out of a comfort zone they may have with drawing as an activity. Opens up a discussion about the idea and pressure of ‘right and wrong’ within drawing and how these approaches begin to break those barriers down. The artworks can be created as both individuals or in groups, which encourages teamwork skills

I also specialise in creating and using sensory resources to make art and creativity fully accessible for all. My experience includes working with both Early Years as well as SEND education.
I have experience creating new workshops to brief, so can offer this to your school, in many mediums including, and not limited to, painting, sculpture, textiles, craft.
Creative Consultancy: I can also be consulted and advise on how creativeness can simply and effectively be brought into the areas of the curriculum, with a small budget.
I have extensive experience in delivering creative and sensory sessions online, engaging with participants and providing easily accessible activities. I also have begun working back in a community arts setting, working under Covid-secure guidelines, and have developed the skills necessary to still be able to provide and fully engaging creative session including demonstrations and idea sharing opportunities.
