King Monk Studios

King Monk Studios is a mindful arts and creative sciences provision that engages all school ages in a safe and calm environment delivering a wide range of art practices spanning over 4 decades of classroom/ commercial knowledge and experience. We deliver “Mindful Arts” workshops and classes on various art forms such as drawing, painting, sculpture, multimedia design and so many more.

We also provide tutoring through our “Creative Sciences” program for ages 6 – 13, where young people are taught English, Science, Maths and Coding through games, puzzles, field trips, and Robots.

We provide support for schools throughout their journey to achieve their Artsmark Award. Our settings always provide a safe non-competitive environment for young people to discover their individuality and creativity. We provide one-off workshops and a set of 1 hour and 2 hours classes, as follows:

  • General one-off Workshop (£200): A choice between “Mindful Arts” or “Creative Sciences” 2-hour workshops, where one of our experts will develop and deliver a workshop based on the age group involved and the school’s requirements (theme based, ie. Bullying, cyber-safety, discrimination, domestic violence).
  • Full-Day workshop (£375): A 5-hour immersive diverse arts and creative experience that will include different engaging sensory activities. Workshops will be tailored according to age group and school requirements to achieve a certain target.
  • Recurring workshops (from £800 pcm – discounts apply for term bookings): “Mindful Arts” weekly sessions, where young people will be able to work on several projects through different arts platforms. To be run within the school day or as an afterschool club.

All our workshops focus on developing young people’s creativity and allow them to discover their abilities in a safe environment that caters to each individual’s wellbeing.

King Monk Studios are still open for business, and we are still able to provide services during this time. We are working within Covid19 guidelines set out by Public Health England. Please get in touch with us to discuss any specific needs and how we might be able to work with your school to provide our services during this time.
