Phoenix Dance Theatre Access and Education aims to empower, engage and inspire through high-quality dance provision. Focused on three key strands, namely: training dancers of the future, children and young people and the hard to reach – our Access and Education team are committed to changing lives through dance. We offer regular weekly provision as part of our Saturday School, No Bounds (boys dance project) and Illuminate Dance (working with children and young people with additional needs) programmes, as well as more concentrated dance training for young people through our Youth Academy. Our other schemes of work include our successful Schools Partnership Scheme; repertory workshops on tour; a range of mass-participation events and three annual youth dance platforms that showcase the very best in local, regional and national talent.
