We want local children to get to know their local heritage, arts and culture. We love Scarborough and are here for you, on your doorstep! We are also able to support pupils to achieve Arts Award Discover or Explore and are a registered Arts Mark centre.

We are experts in finding creative ways to make our collections accessible and engaging for visitors of all ages and our curriculum-linked workshops across our sites cover History, Science, Geography, Art and Design, English and Maths.
Experiences include stepping back in time to the Victorian seaside, getting hands-on with fossils from Jurassic local seas and unravelling the mysteries of Stone Age Scarborough. Pupils develop a wide range of skills, from historical enquiry and oracy skills to creative writing and new art and design techniques. We also offer teacher CPD with subject experts.
