I am a mixed media artist with a Ba Hons in Illustration. I provide quality workshops for both students and teachers alongside my professional practice and exhibitions. Each workshop is tailored to the needs of the school or institution I work with.
I like to show those who attend my workshops that no matter what your background, age or skill level, you can achieve great things. I do this by being true to my working-class roots and providing inspiring and engaging classes and workshops. Student participation and self-driven outcomes are important to my ethos as they help achieve a sense of ownership within those involved. Built in flexibility provides better inclusivity and allows things to be driven forward by all who attend. Ongoing reviews and conversations allow for a range of offers to be made that encourage equality and diversity to flourish.
The aim is to give confidence to those that attend and provide practical and transferable skills to take forward. I aim to enable personal progression and aspirational thinking in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Working on the Plan – Do – Check principal to ensure that aims and core goals are achieved.
