At The Art House, artists and audiences of all kinds are invited to engage with the creative process through a programme of residencies, exhibitions, events, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
We manage accessible artist studios, hosting a wide variety of artists, makers, and creative businesses. In our building, you’ll also find exhibition spaces, a print studio, darkroom, ceramics studio, a shop, a coffee house, meeting rooms and event spaces for hire.
We will support your Artsmark journey across a range of artforms and age groups.
We offer opportunities for children and young people through artist-led workshops and various outreach projects. These might be visual arts, ceramics, printmaking, textiles, photography, to name a few!
We have experience working with children and young people from different backgrounds, including those facing challenges.
We are part of the Arts Council’s National Portfolio and have an established organisation with 30 years’ experience delivering arts and cultural projects.
We actively involve children and young people through our work with local schools and community organisations, helping to embed arts within their curriculum. We work with experienced practitioners who are deeply committed to their artform and can also provide opportunities for teacher professional development.
