Jonny supports the development of Local Cultural Education Partnerships across East Yorkshire, strengthening relationships between the education, arts and culture sectors.
Jonny has worked in arts and culture for 15 years and has wide ranging experience in the sector – From performing, directing and producing award-winning touring theatre productions, to local government work, to building a collection of entertainment venues in London. Outside of IVE Jonny is the Director of The UK’s largest Improvised comedy theatre and school, bringing a robust program of arts education to over 2000 people a year in London and Amsterdam, touring and producing live shows and media content, and creating impactful creative skills-based training for some of the biggest businesses in the world. His focus and passion have always been building fair and sustainable businesses, careers, and opportunities in the arts, and he will continue that emphasis during his work with IVE.
Outside of work you’ll find him on a painfully long run, sculpting with concrete or carving spoons from chunks of wood.
