IVE is seeking two arts/education professionals to develop the reach of Arts Award in the region and support centres and advisors to restart Arts Award delivery.
At IVE we work to ensure that children and young people across the region have access to great arts and cultural opportunities. We know that children and young people completing Arts Award develop their arts, leadership and communication skills (to name just a few) and we are keen to see that grow so that more young people can benefit from taking part.
IVE drives participation in Arts Award and offers support and advice to registered centres and trained advisors in the region. Arts Award is delivered in a variety of different settings across the region including arts centres, colleges and schools, community groups, festivals, libraries, galleries, local authorities, theatres, youth clubs and youth justice settings.
We’re looking for two enthusiastic advocates who can offer support and guidance to Arts Award Centres and Advisers in South Yorkshire and North/East Yorkshire & the Humber. Our aim is to support those who have previously delivered Arts Award to reinstate Arts Award as part of their offer to the young people they work with.
Arts Award is managed by Trinity College London in association with Arts Council England. Arts Award inspires children and young people to grow their arts and leadership talents, is creative, valuable and accessible and can be achieved at five levels, four qualifications and an introductory award.
