Digital Marketing Apprentice

We’re looking for someone with strong communication and problem-solving skills along with a can-do attitude.  You’ll work with our Marketing Manager and the wider team to create strong campaigns to our target markets through a range of digital media channels.  You’ll be creating all kinds of content, writing blogs, making videos and developing images as well as providing reports and analysis.  You’ll also be looking after our CRM system to ensure that we’re reaching the right people.  A high level of computer literacy is required, plus the following essential skills:

Main duties will include: – 

Emails 

• Write marketing emails
• Collate and check and amend data
• Create enquiry forms
• Link emails to relevant forms and databases
• Schedule emails
• Carry out reports on email campaigns

Social Media

• Create and schedule social media posts
• Set up  campaigns
• Analyse the success of campaigns and provide reports
• Source stories, images and memes

The Person 

• Organised
• Good communication skills
• Pro-active
• Able to prioritise work to meet deadlines and be calm under pressure
• Good approach to problem solving
• Punctual
• Keen interest in trends in digital
• Ideally an interest in arts & culture, education or both

Skills Required 

• Good attention to detail, particularly in written materials
• Able to use initiative
• GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English
• A good understanding of social media and its use in marketing
• Some experience of using a Content Management System (CMS)
