We are seeking to engage an External Evaluator for Ignite Yorkshire – a highly ambitious, multi-faceted, four-year partnership project with a key focus of developing the capacity (skills, knowledge, expertise, resilience and resource) within the heritage and youth sectors to better engage young people with the industrial heritage of Yorkshire.
Ignite Yorkshire is supported and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and is one of twelve projects in their ‘Kick the Dust’ programme which, with the support of National Lottery players, aims to make heritage relevant to the lives of young people, ages 11-25, across the UK.
The Evaluator will work with us for the duration of the project to help continuously develop and improve the 4-year Ignite Yorkshire project using an Action Research approach, driven by enquiry interrogating the specific outcomes defined from the project level Theory of Change.
The evaluation findings will inform the strategic planning of the project, be used actively throughout the project to inform changes in practice and be used to annually report to the project funder (HLF) and their national programme level evaluation of Kick the Dust.
More information can be found in the downloadable brief.
Applications must be submitted by 17th December 2018.
