Freelance Artists to create Arts Award Discover Activities

To support Arts Award Discover at Home and Arts Award Discover, IVE would like to commission five local artists to contribute towards our video collection, by creating an exciting, accessible arts activity which celebrates the rich cultural diversity of our region.

We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic candidates who are currently under-represented in this piece of work.

Task:
Artists will be required to create one 1-2minute video recording demonstrating their activity and an A4 word document providing written/visual instructions. The template for the word document will be provided.

FEE: £150 per video

Criteria:
Applicants must:

• Have the necessary recording equipment (good quality mobile phone video with good visual and audio settings perfectly acceptable)
• Present clearly and confidently in their video recording
• Have already had experience in delivering and producing creative activities for children aged 11yrs and under
• Be from and/or working in the Yorkshire and Humber region

How to apply:
Applicants are invited to send in a 30 second video recording introducing themselves as an artist, what type of activity they would be interested in delivering and complete a brief application form.
