Freelance Associates for LCEPs

We’re looking to expand our pool of freelance associates, to work with Local Cultural Education Partnerships (LCEPs) in Yorkshire and the Humber as part of our Bridge programme. As we head towards the end of our Bridge contract with Arts Council England, we are working with our LCEPs to help them become self-sufficient, independent strategic partnerships in 2022. Our LCEPs are at different stages of development; some have received funding to employ staff and deliver against their actions plans and others are working towards that same goal. That’s our focus over the next 6 months and we’re looking for freelance associates to help us and the LCEPs reach that goal.

The role of a LCEP Associate is to act as a facilitator and critical friend, supporting the partnership to:

• ensure its ambitions are strategically driven and respond to local needs, keeping abreast of the wide range of senior leaders and stakeholders that could contribute to the development and future of the partnership.
• ensure it is inclusive and representative of the stakeholders and communities it serves.
• ensure its structure and planning is robust and future proof, and raise its profile to become a valued part of the local creative infrastructure
• identify development needs and seek solutions through training and support from IVE and elsewhere.
• develop plans that will unlock funding from IVE and others potential investors to aid future sustainability.

We currently have 6-month contracts available in Calderdale, Rotherham and North Yorkshire for work between Oct 2021 and March 2022. You will be paid at a fee of £250-£300 per day plus travel for 10-15 days.
