What is Arts Award?

16th November 2018 - Sarah Mulryan

What is Arts Award? Arts Award is a range of unique qualifications that support young people up to 25 to grow as artists and arts leaders, inspiring them to connect with and take part in the wider arts world through creative challenges.

In this video, we talked to teachers and pupils at Endike Academy Hull, where they have embedded Arts Award into their curriculum, to see what impact it has had.

You can find out more on our arts award page.

IVE are looking for Primary Schools across Yorkshire and the Humber who would like to introduce Arts Award with a view to embedding it in the curriculum. We can offer a support package which includes training to become an Arts Award Adviser, expert advice and a small grant to help get Arts Award up and running. We are asking for schools who are interested to submit an expression of interest, stating why you would like to deliver Arts Award at Discover/Explore level(s), to SarahF@weareive.org

Numbers of schools we can offer this package to are limited. Please submit by December 14th 2018.
